Grace is a word used to describe how God has shown his love to us. Put simply, it is when God gives us what we don't deserve. In other words grace is about radical forgiveness, a forgiveness that is costly and that is shown to God's enemies. It is a forgiveness that cost the life of Jesus, God's only Son, who dies in our place.
Grace is God's answer to what is wrong with the world, to what is wrong with us, what is wrong with me. It is God's gift given freely to us in Jesus and it is available to everyone.
"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God" Ephesians 2:8
